Connection to South Kent:
"When I arrived at South Kent as a Third Former in 1969, my father had been a POW in Vietnam for four years, and my mother founded and was leading The National League of Families of POWs and Missing in Southeast Asia. The war ended, and the POWs were released when I was a Sixth Former in February 1973. I will always be grateful for the support and encouragement the faculty community at South Kent School provided me during those years."
