Financial Aid at South Kent School
South Kent School seeks to attract and maintain a diverse student body from a variety of cultural, economic, and geographic backgrounds. Financial awards are based on a family's demonstrated need and the availability of funds. The process for applying for financial aid is outlined below.
To be eligible for consideration for financial aid at South Kent School, you must complete your financial aid application and provide the necessary supporting documentation. Documentation must be submitted by December 1 for returning students and February 1 for new students. Admissions will notify returning students by email when their documentation is due. (Applications received after February 1 will be evaluated on a rolling basis.)
We will communicate decisions about financial aid along with our admissions decisions. Be sure to indicate on your admissions application that you are applying for financial aid.

Families with Separated or Divorced Parents:
South Kent School requires a completed PFS from both natural parents. In addition, remarriage or cohabitation with another adult by either parent requires all involved adults to follow the same process. An application with only one PFS will be considered incomplete and will delay the process. If a family would like to discuss their particular situation with a School Financial Aid representative, please contact Kathy McCann, Senior Associate Director of Admissions and Financial Aid at [email protected].
