Legacy Global Sports and South Kent School Joint Statement

Legacy Global Sports (LGS) and South Kent School (SKS) are issuing this joint statement to confirm that SKS will continue to operate the boys' Selects Academy hockey program, and that the Selects Academy program is not moving to another school. 

Today, South Kent hosts the only Selects Academy Boys AAA, Tier 1 Hockey Program in the country. The LGS/SKS partnership has made a significant impact on elite-level boys youth hockey, sending a number of players to Division I and Division II colleges, the USHL, AHL, and NHL. 

Head of School at South Kent, Lawrence Smith, said, "We are happy to continue our relationship with Legacy Global Sports and proud to be the only Selects Academy option for boys supported by Legacy in the country. This remains a win-win relationship for both South Kent and for Legacy Global Sports." 

Legacy Global Sports and South Kent School expect to continue their partnership through the 2023 season.
