    Sixth Formers Yipei Tang and Huaiyu Jiang were recognized for their high achievement on multiple AP tests. Both of the boys are from China. To be identified as an AP Scholar, a student must have a score of 3 or above on at least three Advanced Placement exams.

    NHL.com Features Joel Farabee ’18 as Potential First-Round Pick

    Joel Farabee ’18, a previous Selects Academy at South Kent School left wing, is getting noticed by the National Hockey League (NHL) for his hard work. NHL correspondent Joe Yerdon wrote an article on Farabee, noting that despite his “small stature” compared to some others in the league, “he has earned an A rating on NHL Central Scouting’s preliminary players to watch list as a potential first-round pick” for the 2018 draft.

    The Selects Academy at South Kent School U16 and U18 teams will play the North Jersey Avalanche in a charity hockey game Friday, December 1, 2017 at 6:00pm. The event will take place at Woodbridge Community Center in Woodbridge, NJ and will raise funds for the American Cancer Society.

    The town of Kent welcomed the South Kent boys for another rendition of the classic Halloween "Thriller" dance on Halloween night on the field adjacent to Kent's own Heron Gallery. Thanks to almost two months of steady practice, they boys' performance did not dissapoint. As they have been for the past few years, the South Kent boys were the life (or death?) of the party.
