Western New England Prep Golf Invitational

On Wednesday, May 10th South Kent School will host the second annual Western New England Prep Golf Invitational (WNEPGI) at Bull's Bridge Golf Club.  Fourteen teams will take the tee at beautiful Bull's Bridge Golf Club for 18 holes of tournament play.  Paul Ramee Jr., Director of Golf/Club Manager, and the club have been a driving force in establishing this amazing event.

Last year twelve teams took part in the inaugural tournament. St. Luke's School of New Canaan, CT took home the team championship while South Kent School's Jacob Smith earned match medalist honors with a 1-over par 73. 

Along with the hosts and the reigning team champions the following schools return for the second year: Avon, Brunswick, Canterbury, Gunnery, Millbrook, Salisbury, Suffield, Trinity Pawling, Westminster and co-hosts Kent School. Also joining this elite group of schools this year are Loomis Chaffee and Taft. The heralded Tom Fazio designed course with be full with 84 of New England's best prep school golfers.

Teams will warm-up starting at noon and the event will commence with a shotgun start at 1:30pm followed by dinner and awards.  Parents are invited to come watch their son's compete, albeit silently.
