Nancy and Jerry Waller

We are greatly saddened to announce the passing on January 10th of Nancy Thomson Waller, a center-pin of the SKS community from 1947 to 1983. Nancy began several wonderful South Kent traditions, including the faculty children's hanging of May Baskets each May Day; she also provided the first, beautifully elaborate costumes for students in the annual Nativity Play. Nancy was predeceased by her husband, SKS alumnus and long-time faculty member, Julius "Jerry" Waller ’35. A more complete remembrance of Nancy will appear in the next issue of the magazine.
